How to stop outlook from opening a browser every time I create a meeting?

Every time I click on New Meeting it opens my browser and its very frustrating. How do you shut this functionality off?

    Thanks, I'm patching a test machine shortly and will test it. Currently we are on M365 Apps 16.0.16130.20298 but I do see the update available.

    This is a global issue that is occurring when environments like ours block OWA (outlook on the web). As per the Microsoft article in the below link,  Microsoft is working on a fix and it’s estimated to reach production in mid April, 2023.

    The fix is supposed to be in service build 15.20.6201.000. I checked mine, updated with the latest patch, and checked mine again and the version is still 15.20.6156.xx. So I don't think it's officially fixed yet.
