Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
For me, yes. It corrected my issue and I am able to search past and present emails, including new ones.

I recently downloaded the new Mac Ventura OS. Now my Outlook won't search email folders for the two weeks since I downloaded the OS. I deleted all the Office 365 files then downloaded a new batch. Problem persists. Unfortunately, I can't find advice specific to the Ventura OS.

Me also!
After having tried all Solutions from the Microsoft Site the tip from subdetuned aquired from Outlook Support finally did it.
Ventura 13.2.1 - Outlook 16.70
( tried sudo mdutil -E ( -E Erase and rebuild index. ) before which did not fix it )
Open Finder and go to Applications - Utilities - Terminal and type the following commands (Press Enter after typing each command).sudo mdutil -a -i offsudo mdutil -a -i onNote: When prompted for a password, please type the Mac user password. This would be invisible. Please type the same and hit enter.Once done, restart the mac computer and wait for about an hour and check for the behavior.
Ignore error message for preboot volume, that is protected and cannot be indexed.
Reboot and let mdutil do its work ( Utilities -> Activity display -> ) takes........
In addition, the commands also made the search in the folder ( Finder ) functional again ( before that worked only under this Mac. )
-a Apply command to all stores on all volumes.-i (on|off) Turn indexing on or off.
Same issue. I contacted support directly from Outlook and got this answer. The solution worked for me!! (I have a Macbook Pro M2 Chip)
Outlook Support:
I will be glad to assist you. With regards to the search issue, let's run a couple of commands on Terminal to manually initiate indexing and check if that helps:
Open Finder and go to Applications - Utilities - Terminal and type the following commands (Press Enter after typing each command).sudo mdutil -a -i offsudo mdutil -a -i onNote: When prompted for a password, please type the Mac user password. This would be invisible. Please type the same and hit enter.Once done, restart the mac computer and wait for about an hour and check for the behavior. Please try and let us know the Outcome. Thank you.
Let me join the chorus of people to say that this works! Like many, I've been having indexing issues for a while and tried multiple solutions, including creating a new profile. None worked until this solution. I encountered multiple errors while executing the steps above, but once I confirmed Spotlight was indexing, I left it alone overnight and Outlook search worked in the morning.
Thank you!
Just used this to solve the problem on my Monterey machine. No errors but you do have to wait after each mdutil step. Then restart Outlook and it should be working soon enough after indexing progresses.
