Outlook Calendar changes not showing up in Google Calendar

Hello there!

I have Outlook email and Calendar (and I'm not sure what else) through work. I shared my main Outlook Calendar to my personal Google Calendar account by importing the Outlook .ICS URL (found in Outlook.com > Settings > Calendar > Shared Calendars) into GC. All events show up usually, but this past week I haven't seen event changes showing up in GC, even more than 24 hours after the changed event passed. I can't find any way to manually force a sync/update.

What can be done to ensure event changes to my Outlook Calendar show up in my Google Calendar? This is important for me because I have a long-established system of meeting reminders based around my Google Calendar, and whether OC supports that setup or not it would be too much work to redo it all for this 1 calendar.

    Could you let us know the outcome in a few days....I have definitely experienced some short-term updating of GC from Outlook, but nothing the next day. Perhaps the ics URL in OC refreshes itself and so breaks the link between GC and OC? If the ics URL were static then perhaps that would fix it.

    Hi all,

    I'm having the same issue as you all and decided to test this yesterday. My work Outlook calendar has been linked to my personal Google calendar last week using the .ICS URL method. Yesterday at 11:29am, I created a dummy event in my Outlook calendar to see if it would populate in my Google calendar.

    It didn't right away, but sometime after 10pm at night (when I stopped checking) it did show up on my calendar. It's frustrating that the calendar sync isn't continuous, especially when trying to juggle multiple calendars, but for me at least, it does seem to update within 12-22 hours afterwards.

    For me, I think this sync issue began about 8-10 weeks ago I think...

    I also am wondering if this an attempt to convince people to use their Outlook calendar as the aggregator of all events from multiple places such as Outlook, Google, Yahoo and alike. Can Google really be unaware and uninterested in a fix? Bizarre

    it works perfectly the other way and always has done because it's google! this is so frustrating and as someone who works with multiple clients on different software it very unreliable.

    I'm having the same problem, have tried the same solutions and have come to the conclusion that the problem is not going to be addressed by Microsoft. They would rather us all use Outlook Calendar only. My next test is to see how well everything syncs from Google Calendar to Outlook Calendar. If there are no compatibility issues, then my suspicions will be confirmed.
