Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Do I need to remove my outlook calendar first? How do I install the script? and how do I change the frequency?

Hello there!
I have Outlook email and Calendar (and I'm not sure what else) through work. I shared my main Outlook Calendar to my personal Google Calendar account by importing the Outlook .ICS URL (found in Outlook.com > Settings > Calendar > Shared Calendars) into GC. All events show up usually, but this past week I haven't seen event changes showing up in GC, even more than 24 hours after the changed event passed. I can't find any way to manually force a sync/update.
What can be done to ensure event changes to my Outlook Calendar show up in my Google Calendar? This is important for me because I have a long-established system of meeting reminders based around my Google Calendar, and whether OC supports that setup or not it would be too much work to redo it all for this 1 calendar.
Thanks in advance,
Grant

Hi,
I tried this and it does not work. Can you assist and run it through me step by step. I am not that technical
I came across what appears to be a less complicated calendar sync tool under Google Calendar Help that describes the same problem: 'How do I sync my Microsoft Outlook calendar with Google Calendar?'. Once there scroll down a page and look for the entry by Neil@GCalToolkit). I believe it's a much simpler utility/tool to install then previous Github script mentioned.
Better yet, just go directly to it. It's free and called OGCS (Outlook Google Calendar Sync), it's also a GitHub solution developed since 2012 but appears my User friendly to implement. https://www.outlookgooglecalendarsync.com/
OMG - that was scary....way too technical, but your encouragement got me through it - Thank you to whoever wrote the script and to YOU Richard for persuading me to try.
So far, so good, the script is working on the three outlook calendars that I connected.
So far the script is working for me! Thank you so much for posting!!
