Outlook Calendar changes not showing up in Google Calendar

While I am no script expert the way I think it works is when the script runs it goes and grabs the updated ICS and "re-syncs" if you will. So if it worked once then it would continue to work. But the variable is on the Microsoft side--that has MS updated by the ICS. That sometimes can take some time. I've read conflicting posts about how long the time period is between MS updates to the ICS and that's why I said once you are sure the script worked (i.e., the calendar is created under "My calendars") then just 24 hours.

Also check your Google drive and make sure you see the copy of the script there.

Note in the above screenshot the "Chris Work" was created by the script. If the calendar is not under "My Calendars" but under "other calendars" it was not created by the script. When I did this I FIRST created the Outlook sync by using the ICS and then creating it by adding it as another Google calendar. I made the mistake of using the same name when I did the script and I didn't realize another calendar had been created under "My Calendar". I suspect most people will create the Outlook calendar through Google and when it doesn't sync search for the reason and then come across this thread so they would have already had an Outlook sync calendar created. That's why in the instructions I say to use a unique name but change nothing else until you are sure it's working. Once you see the calendar created under "My Calendar" and once it actually syncs, then go in and change the interval. It's not like you can't do it in the same step but what I find is the fewer variables you add the less likely you'll have issues.

It should work if the script was done correctly (it seems to have worked for everyone else on this thread).

That's why in the instructions I say to use a unique name for it so that you'll see that name under the "My Calendar" list of calendars in Google and it's CHECKED obviously (see screen shot). The default is to sync every 15 minutes. I found that I could click on the script to run it 10 times and it wouldn't sync until the PLANNED sync is executed by the script on it's own. Also, it takes time for the sync to occur. I'm not sure the variables on your end but as long as the script created the calendar (i.e., not done by copying the ICS to create the calendar in Google yourself) I'd wait for 24 hours but it should happend much faster than that.https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/a46d369d-3e83-4a46-88d6-a7c80e8f902a?platform=QnA

Yes, I can now see Google Calendar in Outlook. But any edits I make from Outlook (in the GC) are not reflected in the original Google Calendar.

Yes it has worked.

I will now try to get 2 way syncing.

As an added bonus (and ironically THE reason I started with this) is that my Android callendar is updated via the Google update!!!
