Outlook Calendar changes not showing up in Google Calendar

Hello there!

I have Outlook email and Calendar (and I'm not sure what else) through work. I shared my main Outlook Calendar to my personal Google Calendar account by importing the Outlook .ICS URL (found in Outlook.com > Settings > Calendar > Shared Calendars) into GC. All events show up usually, but this past week I haven't seen event changes showing up in GC, even more than 24 hours after the changed event passed. I can't find any way to manually force a sync/update.

What can be done to ensure event changes to my Outlook Calendar show up in my Google Calendar? This is important for me because I have a long-established system of meeting reminders based around my Google Calendar, and whether OC supports that setup or not it would be too much work to redo it all for this 1 calendar.

Thanks in advance,

Grant

This seems to have worked for me. As mentioned though it doesn't sync in real time but later on.

In my case, our administrator had disabled publishing Outlook calendars on the Microsoft end. I found a VBS module for Outlook that would create an ICS file on my desktop computer and used WinSCP to monitor the output folder to upload to a secure FTP site whenever there was a change. The Google script to draw it in did work. It's been so long since I posted in this thread I'm not sure if I was the one who provided the link for the Google script or someone else. You can find the Google script and instructions here: https://github.com/derekantrican/GAS-ICS-Sync

Did this work? Is it worth doing?

(So annoying that Microsoft (or possibly Google?) won't just FIX THIS!!)

I have the exact same issue. I do not want my personal information on my work calendar, but I do want my work events to appear on my personal Google calendar.
