Outlook Calendar changes not showing up in Google Calendar

Hello there!

I have Outlook email and Calendar (and I'm not sure what else) through work. I shared my main Outlook Calendar to my personal Google Calendar account by importing the Outlook .ICS URL (found in Outlook.com > Settings > Calendar > Shared Calendars) into GC. All events show up usually, but this past week I haven't seen event changes showing up in GC, even more than 24 hours after the changed event passed. I can't find any way to manually force a sync/update.

What can be done to ensure event changes to my Outlook Calendar show up in my Google Calendar? This is important for me because I have a long-established system of meeting reminders based around my Google Calendar, and whether OC supports that setup or not it would be too much work to redo it all for this 1 calendar.

Thanks in advance,

Grant

I have a similar issue. Our IT team is bamboozled, so I guess it is Microsoft's problem. It started around the time our work email was migrated to Office 365, so about 2 months ago. The differences for me are that I can see Outlook calendar in my Google calendar app on my Android phone (works perfectly fine), but the Google Calendar web is the one which does not display ANYTHING. And, the link reset doesn't work for me.

same here, even between MS accounts sync not working. Only desktop Outlook updates all events after F9 presed.

OWA does not - there is no way to update manually, only way is accept shared calendar again in the e-mail. Not even between two Office 365 org.

Inside one org all is OK. Server OK, going to escalate this weekend...

I have the same issue. I have four 365 accoounts which I link to Outlook, both calendar and email, and two google accounts. I have no issues with the email synched to Outlook, but i do with the calendar. None of the events that I create for my Google accounts in Outlook synchronise with the Google calendar on the web. For example, I add a 'not available' event into my calendar to show my clients that I am busy. However no one can see these entries in their office Google calendar. Aside from importing data or reconnecting daily, i there a solution?

The only way that I found to force the sync is by:

    • resetting the link (ICS) on Outlook Web
    • removing the calendar on Google and then
    • creating a new calendar with the resetted link.

Thanks a lot for your reply, Guilherme! Resetting the link on Outlook Web (and adding a "calendar from URL" with that link in GC) did the trick! Now, let's hope that it keeps working ;-)

    Best, Peter.
