Can I permanently increase the font size in the reader pane of Outlook?

As per your mentioned description about "Can I permanently increase the font size in the reader pane of Outlook?". After thorough research and testing, I found that increasing the size of the text in the Reading Pane only works on the email you are currently looking at. When you click on another email, the body text will return to the default font size. For extra reference kindly refer to Change the font or font size in the message list - Microsoft Support

It has been concluded that to increase the font size in reading pane permanently not yet available. However, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, your suggestion is very helpful, and I believe it could make the use of Outlook even better. We will surely raise your concerns to our Product Development Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates. Hi, I'd also like to change the font size in the reading pane permanently. I would think for the sake of accessibility or disability you would make this a feature. Even for tired eyes after reading all day, it would be great to have instead of having to adjust each email as they arrive. I get over 100 emails a day and having to adjust each one is a waste of my time. Hope to see this in the next release. Thanks for listening. Regards, Leslie

This is not good enough.

It is not acceptable to have to manually adjust the size of each email all day long. I use Outlook all day, 100 is the lowest number of emails I receive every day. I also pay to use Microsoft Office 365 every year. Google Workspace allows to change how I view emails, why can't Outlook do the same in 2023 when "User Experience Engineer" is literally a job position now?

Given that I pay for this service, please change it.

For those following the thread, I did try the accessibility / stationery and font change, but not seeing a difference. Go to FILE (scroll down to OPTIONS), go to Accessibility - go to Stationery and Fonts - select composing and reading plain text messages. You can select font and size there, but I'm not seeing a difference yet after increasing it. Maybe I need to restart computer, not sure. But I think there should be something added on to this screen for just Reading emails.

Respectfully, it is completely unacceptable that this design change, that literally dramatically reduces user productivity, was implemented! Are the designers not cognitive of your corporate users?! What has to happen to put this functionality back into the app? Good design does not deploy features that make the user experience noticeably worse! :(
