Can I permanently increase the font size in the reader pane of Outlook?

The font size is way too small. I can temporarily increase the font size for each email I read or write. I can't find any setting or instructions online to permanently increase the font size.

    I dont have a slider bar in the bottom left corner

    There IS a permanent way to increase the size in your reading pane.

    In the lower left corner of Outlook, manually increase the size using the slider. Once you're at your desired zoom, click on the number (e.g., 120% or whatever you've selected) at the far bottom right. A dialogue window will appear. Click "Remember my preference" and then click OK.

    Thank you so much it has been bothering me as well that changing the font size in the reading pane is individual for each email. This is great help!!

    I have nothing i the left hand corner of outlook there is no slider bar, but there in on the right hand side which is greyed out and cant be changed. So how do i do this please.
