Contact list grayed out in Outlook for Mac

How can this option not be a priority??? Very disappointing that something that has been around for so long does not exist on the latest, greatest version of Outlook. Ughhh!

Based on your description, I know your requirement. In fact, new outlook for mac does not have contact lists now. So the icon is greyed out. You can get more detailed information from New outlook for mac.

Microsoft is updating their products based on customers' need, believe this feature will be available soon. Please be patient to wait for some time. If you want to use this feature now, you can change back to the old outlook as the document said at any time. Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated.

is this a joke? how patient are we supposed to be as functionality is arbitrarily taken away from an already UX-deficient platform? Is there any update on this?

I think it would help us all with our patience if Microsoft could explain what the difficulty with this actually is. We all think it is simple especially as it was in all previous versions but seems not to be so simple from their end. Microsoft, please explain why this is such a problem for you. Having waited 2 years already expecting you to fix it, how much longer are we going to have to wait or are you never intending to continue with this functionality for MAC users? I’m at the point now of ending my 365 subscription. I’m sure others must be too.
