Contact list grayed out in Outlook for Mac

(This article says that you "just have to" enable "Hide on my computer folders" but I do not have that options in Preferences > General) How do I enable Contact List this? Based on your description, I know your requirement. In fact, new outlook for mac does not have contact lists now. So the icon is greyed out. You can get more detailed information from New outlook for mac.

Microsoft is updating their products based on customers' need, believe this feature will be available soon. Please be patient to wait for some time. If you want to use this feature now, you can change back to the old outlook as the document said at any time. Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated.

When are they going to put contact lists back??? This is quite silly to not have such a basic function to send multiple emails at once.

When are we going to see the contact list in Outlook Mac? You said to be patient a year ago. This is not some new, interesting feature that customers tell you they want. This is basic fundamental email functionality that should have been designed into your software from day 1. However, like everything Microsoft, basic functionality is considered nice to have some day, while half-baked, buggy, poorly functioning software being pushed out to the revenue stream is the number 1 priority.
