Contact list grayed out in Outlook for Mac

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I know your requirement. In fact, new outlook for mac does not have contact lists now. So the icon is greyed out. You can get more detailed information from New outlook for mac.

Microsoft is updating their products based on customers' need, believe this feature will be available soon. Please be patient to wait for some time. If you want to use this feature now, you can change back to the old outlook as the document said at any time. Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated.

How are contacts lists in Outlook for Mac not an option? This seems like a basic need for anyone in business.

Thank you, Mark! I have seen instructions that said to change the "Hide On My Computer folders" preference, but not mentioned the uncheck "New Outlook". We have several end users that need this feature and cannot go back. Will the "Hide On My Computer" preference change work without going back?

Thanks, Mark. This worked for me.

Only Microsoft would deliberately remove the most basic of features from the latest Mac version of its product so as to drive users away from Apple. This is Microsoft's idea of strategic thinking.
