"Message failed to send" Red Error box in Outlook 365 for Mac

Hi everyone - has anyone had issues with sending emails using Outlook 365 for Macs? Especially a red error box that appears at the bottom (attached) and says "Message failed to send Open" The email is then stuck in drafts with the option to continue editing but it is simply frozen in drafts and the only way is to delete and try again. Alternatively, you can go to the webmail version of outlook, find the drafts folder and send from there. This has been happening on/off for several weeks now, no pattern, just happens occasionally.

This version of Outlook 365 is absolutely **** with so many issues

    YES - This is AWFUL. I'm a CEO and my entire organization is plagued with this error. . .and worse. . this only RECENTLY started to happen, like in the past few months. IT drives me insane, wastes my time, and I'm sick of Microsoft making excuses when this is a new issue on their system. Users should not need to GUESS and troubleshoot this stuff. . . what century are we in? Very disappointed and our IT team is considering our other options as this is killing productivity here.

    There are many people asking what has happened to our ability to send group emails on outlook for mac. I have the 365 package.

    Group emails were erratic, but finally worked, now not working at all.

    It there no solution?

    Yup, I keep finding them in my drafts hours later when I'm sat wondering why someone hasn't responded. It's causing major issues.

    If I load the drafts folder on my phone (Outlook app) or OWA and send from there it's fine so it's 100% an Outlook software issue.

    Hello,

    I recently started having this same issue on Mac. I haven't canvassed all of our Mac users, so I'm unsure how widespread it is at our company, but this is super annoying. I can go get my draft on the web and send it.. but the issue comes when I hit send, then move on to the next thing and DON'T NOTICE that my email didn't leave my drafts. This is going to bite me on something super critical at some point.
