How Can I Import a Calendar in the New Outlook for Windows (Business)?

I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.

Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:

Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.

Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    This would be great however as of May 2025 it is no longer there at all in either the desktop or app version.....

    Do yourself a favor. Abandon the "New Outlook"/Mail program altogether and just buy and install on your computer the standalone Outlook Classic program for $150 bucks. It works. Does more than you will ever need. Disentangles you from the abomination that is New-Outlook-not-ready-for-prime-time. At least this was my approach after much frustration. Could not be happier.

    It's only available for outlook.com or business exchange accounts, not IMAP accounts.
