I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.
Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:
Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.
Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.
Import from the calendar module - Add calendar link > Upload from file
This is not resolved in New Outlook --> Calendar module. A .hol cannot be imported as not an .ics.
As other confirmed even if you switch back to legacy outlook, and import, when you switch back to New Outlook the calendar you just imported is no longer visible. So I just do without the .hol that would make life easier ... would be great to have a timeline on parity of these types of features in New Outlook.
.HOL files are only supported in classic Outlook. They are only used for all day events, such as holidays (hence the .HOL extension).
You need a .ics file to import into new Outlook.

I cannot agree more! Unbelivable, only more unbelivable that I still persist in paying it and waiting for improvements. Disaster.
