How Can I Import a Calendar in the New Outlook for Windows (Business)?

I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.

Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:

Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.

Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    Jim, please clarify. I’m still hooked into my former employer’s Exchange network, so I’ve not used Outlook classic across my home laptop, iPhone and iPad as non-Exchange devices. Are you saying Outlook classic will not sync calendars across those devices outside of an Exchange environment? Or were you referring to New Outlook’s deficiencies?

    Actually - I found a page that offers a free download Install or reinstall classic Outlook on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support

    but not sure it will work. I am downloading it now.
