How Can I Import a Calendar in the New Outlook for Windows (Business)?

I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.

Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:

Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.

Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    Download the ICS file to your computer. Right click file and select open with Outlook (new).

    This opens an import window where you can select which calendar you want to import the event into.

    It works for me. It opens up a window and asks about which Calendar, I chose the one that I wanted to put the invite in. Then, import and I could see the invitation in my calendar.

    This brings back memories of the millennium os! Microsoft has messed up again! I suggest that users do not upgrade to the new outlook. Rather install it from scratch and run them side by side. That way you can align old and new at your own pace. Many calendar events will have to be done manually but it is what it is. What a stuff up!

    This did not worked in my case. But it worked properly in old outlook. Is it the New outlook is BETA version? Not the complete.
