How Can I Import a Calendar in the New Outlook for Windows (Business)?

I need to share a calendar over Outlook with a lot of individuals. In the old Outlook, you used to be able to import the calendar.

Now, there is an error message and it won't let you import a calendar, as shown below:

Some individuals might have the old Outlook, some might have the new version, but it is not reasonable to request that everyone switch back to the old version of Outlook just to download a calendar.

Is there a new way to import calendars in the new Outlook for Windows (Business)? We have Microsoft 365, FYI.

New Outlook does not have a File tab. If you want to import a calendar ics file, do it from the calendar module.

    Diane, please just stop. The question here is for Outlook Desktop, NOT Outlook 365. MS (and not unique to them) needs to come up with better product naming/branding than just constantly recycling the same name for totally different products. But, for now, unless you know something about Outlook desktop, just stop.

    I am going to try this next time I get some sort of ics file, either by email or web link. (I get a lot of the latter,) We shall see. But I will stand by my 40 years experience working with computers in one way or another, (Wrote my first computer program in 1969!), this beta version should have never been released: the ability to have 1 common server so different computers can get the same info sync'ed, is a must, and losing the ability to just click on a 'date link' is a travesty. Microsoft needs to step up and admit this failure and FIX this. And while we are at it, FIX HOW RULES WORK!

    Sorry it been so late. I have the calendar, so no problem. It is when someone send a 'link' to add a date from an email. The type were if you clicked on it, the date and info would be added to your default calendar.
