My Outlook (O365) and many others is constantly freezing. We are in online mode due to accessing shared mailboxes.

This issue started occurring after Microsoft released a big update on 10 November 2022. The message appears below everytime Outlook freezes. We can't be in cached mode as it causes issue with shared mailboxes. How do I fix this issue? thanks Lia

    I had the same "Outlook is trying to retrieve data..." problem for a while even if my Office 365 Version was up to date (Version 2303). I had to update my Citrix Version from v21 to v23. This resolved the issue.

    Thank you. We are not using 0365 (Microsoft Office 2019 Plus) so hopefully we get a fix soon.

    We are no longer having these issues. There have been a few large O365 updates along with Windows updates recently which I think have fixed this issue. I think this issue has now been resolved.

    On Version 2208 (Build 15601.20538) now/mostly, while it has been over a month since my post.

    On this build, Outlook seems to have settled and I am not hearing complaints from users, nor is my Outlook repetitively notifying.

    Still M365 Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel.

    Hi Steve and Ali. Just wondering if your issue has been resolved. We are also on prem server (Exchange 2016) and we are experiencing the same issues as you which are still not resolved.

    Hi Kim,

    Yes this issue was resolved for us by updating our Office365 client and i believe Microsoft made some changes to the O365 infrastructure at the same time.
