I have recently switched to the New Outlook format and I'm trying to reestablish a 3 min delay on all emails I send.

The Rules tab does not allow for the same settings to be establish as available in classic format.

Is there a way to establish a delay in the new app?

Please hurry up and implement this feature.

It's not the solution I want, but a workaround I found to try and unsend a message after you did send them it already:

    If you sent a message.

From there, go to your sent messages and open that message.

Click the three dots at the top.

    Click recall message.

It will try to remove it from the recipient's inbox.

Of course, you can also do Settings > Mail > Compose > Undo Send > 10 Seconds.

This adds the undo send box to the bottom of your screen after you send it for up to 10 seconds.

Old Outlook still lets you add the rule for delaying it any number of minutes.

I tried to do a screenshot, but the image fails.

Yep. I came to that conclusion, too. I have deleted "NEW OUTLOOK" (one of the most frustrating MS app "updates" I have experienced - quite an achievement, considering how bad some other MS app updates have been). It is a great shame that in dumbing down the rules for outlook, this very useful feature, used by a great many customers, has been deemed as not worthy of inclusion by MS. New Outlook? Another Microsoft triumph..... Ha!

Same here. It's a big mistake by Microsoft to redesign Outlook and leave out so many essential features.

Outlook is an app people rely on daily, and many of us have developed habits around its features. Removing them disrupts the way we work.

Until they restore this and a few other important features, I’m not upgrading to the New Outlook, even though I like the design and improved user-friendliness.

Might not help everyone if you want more than 10 secs but at least for the accidental send situations:

Settings > Mail > Compose & Reply > Undo Send

There is an option that lets you cancel a message up to 10secs after hitting send. Better than nothing.
