I have recently switched to the New Outlook format and I'm trying to reestablish a 3 min delay on all emails I send.

The Rules tab does not allow for the same settings to be establish as available in classic format.

Is there a way to establish a delay in the new app?

    Dear _8183,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "How can i set up a delay on all emails in New Outlook".

After doing test, I found that in the new outlook you may set up a delay on all email by setting the schedule send, go to Message as you are going to compose new message and click on the down caret then chose the “schedule Send” then customize the date and time.

In addition, there is still a limitation with the new product in that you can't save this setting for all of the emails that you send; instead, you have to choose the carat once again for each message and choose the "Last Chosen time" without customizing the time again.

We truly appreciate your kind understanding and patience in this situation.

    Sincerely,

Thanks De Paul, that only works for a single email, it doesn't apply for all sent emails.

In the old outlook you can set a rule to hold all emails in the outbox for up to two hours after sending.

I can't find the same rule or function in the New Outlook .

    Thanks,

    Dear _8183,

Good day! Thank you for your reply.

As I mentioned in my initial reply above, this is a New Outlook that is currently in Preview, and the platform/foundation of the application itself is still under development, you have to understand that and wait for future updates. Luckily, at this stage of development, installing updates and restarting the client is a fast process. Alternately, you can revert back to "Classic" Outlook by disabling New Outlook toggle or close outlook and open outlook by using outlook.exe instead of olk.exe.

Moreover, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I believe your suggestion could make New Outlook even better. We'll bring your issues to our Product Development Team as New Outlook for Windows is still under development. We suggest posting your complaint as an idea to our Outlook in-app feedback by going to Help > Feedback. Refer to Contact support and provide feedback within the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support

Note the Feedback will not be available if you disable the Optional connected experience. To enable Feedback, go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > General > Privacy and data > Privacy settings and turn on the Optional connected experience.

Our Product Development Team are committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions. Hopefully, your suggestion will help many users in the future. I will update here if I get any useful update on this feature. Thank you for your understanding and support.

For other concerns, please do not hesitate to add you post in the Microsoft Community Team.

    Sincerely,

Well, for reference, I use this function all the time so until this is resolved the New Outlook is useless to me. Please let me know when this has been amended as the New Outlook is unusable to me until this is resolved.
