New Outlook for Mac does not show emails older than 30 days

Hello,

I needed to find an email that I keen the date that was send to me. So I start scrolling down to my Inbox. To my surprise, I could not scroll further than 30 days.

What's up with that? Only 30 days of ?

Is there a way for the New Outlook to increase that limit of showing only 30 days of emails?

Unfortunately searching in Outlook (either new or old look), seems to be getting worse and worse. Several people in my company have complained that search does not return all emails that should appear and it happened to me several times. So it is not that I can rely on search anymore.

If such simple things cannot be available, I could not imagine if Outlook for Mac will ever get feature parity with the Windows version.

    Good day,

    I am not sure if any one have solved this issue but I had the same problem when I switched to the new outlook on my MAC Outlook, it seems that when you use the switch button in the new outlook it copy's the data store over but syncing is then the problem. I just recreated the profile in new outlook and resync and everything synced properly.

    This is really a big issue and awful UX. I need a setting to define how many of my mails are synced (needed about 12 months). Others could be fetched from server when hitting search.

    Yeah it's just madness that a professional email client expects business professionals to only need 30 days of historical emails.

    I've got emails going back years that are occasionally necessary to refer back to. Legacy Outlook copes with these fine, will download my entire mailbox, and search returns complete results instantly. Why is this such a challenge for "new Outlook"?

    Have the clowns at Microsoft fixed this yet? They keep telling me that i have to make contact using "Help > contact support" within outlook for mac.. I cant even upload a screen shot into their so called support

    you can view old emails. the problem with New Outlook for Mac is you can't backup/export your email. You have to revert to Legacy Outlook to export.... which i just did, and it's a pain to go back and forth
