New Outlook for Mac does not show emails older than 30 days

Hello,

I needed to find an email that I keen the date that was send to me. So I start scrolling down to my Inbox. To my surprise, I could not scroll further than 30 days.

What's up with that? Only 30 days of ?

Is there a way for the New Outlook to increase that limit of showing only 30 days of emails?

Unfortunately searching in Outlook (either new or old look), seems to be getting worse and worse. Several people in my company have complained that search does not return all emails that should appear and it happened to me several times. So it is not that I can rely on search anymore.

If such simple things cannot be available, I could not imagine if Outlook for Mac will ever get feature parity with the Windows version.

    Well I'm viewing all my emails going back years BUT now when I get a new email in the inbox it no longer shows a message preview and cannot be opened.

    If I move that email from the inbox to another folder it shows a message preview and can be opened. If I then move it back to the Inbox it shows a message preview and can be opened.

    In settings/view I have the Show Message Preview box ticked.

    Keep on trying Microsoft!!!

    I happened to install Outlook 365 after hating outlook 2016 just to discover how I was wrong to install outlook 365 and such a lot of unhappy missing functionality.

    I will scavenge Internet to find a way to revert back to Outlook 2016 and this will be the last Microsoft product I will install on a MAC

    I've dumped all Microsoft apps, including Outlook, and cancelled my 365 account.

    I'm now using Apple Mail, Apple Pages and Apple Numbers. They all come free with Apple devices and are a breath of fresh air! OneDrive has been replaced with Dropbox.

    I have the same problem. All is well on the web version, but only goes back 30 days on my computer. Frustrating.

    I just want my old outlook back where I can find all 10000 emails from John Doe and my 2000 emails from Jane Doe. It’s bad enough having to deal with it on a Mac without having this issue. I’ve done every tip and trick on the “Google” and nothing works. Please @Microsoft, give us our old outlook back.
