New Outlook for Mac does not show emails older than 30 days

Hello,

I needed to find an email that I keen the date that was send to me. So I start scrolling down to my Inbox. To my surprise, I could not scroll further than 30 days.

What's up with that? Only 30 days of ?

Is there a way for the New Outlook to increase that limit of showing only 30 days of emails?

Unfortunately searching in Outlook (either new or old look), seems to be getting worse and worse. Several people in my company have complained that search does not return all emails that should appear and it happened to me several times. So it is not that I can rely on search anymore.

If such simple things cannot be available, I could not imagine if Outlook for Mac will ever get feature parity with the Windows version.

    Outlook for MAC is a piece of junk. I downloaded and I cant get any of my historical Gmails - which I need. I wanted outlook so i can create folders. I am not giving up my gmail account I have had for years and years. thank you for reminding me why I hate microsoft. I am going back to using the Apple Mail interface or maybe just plain old Gmail. Its easier. Who has time for this???

    I have the opposite problem. I tried switching to the "new outlook" and I can't see new messages. Outlook also doesn't display read messages, only old unread messages.

    Outlook for MAC sucks! I have to use Parallels to mimic a windows computer to be able to work.

    Can someone help??

    I have the same problem with one of my clients, but it is not 30 days but 12 months that are showing. He has Office 365 installed on his Mac with new interface but if switch to legacy, all emails show up.

    If I add the client mailbox to my Mac with office 365 and new interface for outlook then it show all old emails. So it is not consistent between installations. There must be a setting on the Mac somewhere which determines the behaviour.

    Anyone from MS got any ideas????

    Don't get too excited I haven't done anything other than switch the 'New Outlook' button to 'On'.

    Yes, one folder does show 22 emails over two years old BUT it isn't showing all of the 39 emails that should be there!

    Yes, one folder now shows emails over three years old BUT it isn't showing one less than a year old!

    It is possible to 'force' Outlook to download emails that aren't showing by moving them from one folder to another as follows:- Assuming that you have 6 emails in Folder 'A' but you know that there should be 12. Move the ones that are showing to Folder 'B' and you will find that the missing ones will now appear in Folder 'A'. Now move the emails back from B to A and you will now have the full 12 regardless of date.

    Great you might be thinking but no!! When you turn off Outlook and relaunch it all your hard work is undone.

    New Outlook is a crock of sh**.

    The best thing to do with it is to go to the Menu Bar and select Help/Revert to Legacy Outlook, or delete it altogether and use Mac Mail or Spark.
