Outlook Calendar on Mac Sync Issues with Apple calendar app

I have been having issues with syncing events between my Outlook calendar on Mac and my Apple calendar application (on my MacBook Pro) for the last couple of months. Before then, the syncing worked like a charm.

I've had many calls with the Apple support team and they got it working every single time but it stops syncing again after a few hours or at most a day.

Do you have any tips on what I may need to do to resolve this issue from the Outlook side of things?

An interesting fact is that my iPhone and my Outlook calendars are syncing perfectly fine. It's just the connection between my MacBook Pro and Outlook that doesn't work

I would so very much appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thank you!

I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro but I also use a 2020 Intel Mac mini and both of them will not synch Microsoft calendar events unless I restart-- then they will only continue to synch actively for a few hours (One is on Monterey, one on Sonoma - same issue BTW).

Oddly, my iPhone syncs fine - so my "workaround" is to dupe the events on my phone and add them to a calendar that *does* synch - but surely there is a reason, though I have been struggling for months so I honestly gave up.

Any help would be SO appreciated.

I have had the same problem for ages. It worked temporarily by forcing updating every minute, but this has stopped.

I am astounded that two of the world's biggest companies can't fix a problem in one of the flagship products (outlook) and can only conclude that there are not enough resources (are there any?) devoted to solving this.

When can we expect a fix?

I have had the same issue for several years on a 2017 MacBook Pro and recently switched to a M3 Pro Macbook and the same issue exists. I've tried re-adding the account but with no success. Nothing seems to work.

My personal exchange calendar syncs perfectly but my organization's account does not sync (even though it does on my iPad and iPhone).

It is very frustrating and I thought this issue would be fixed by now.

I have an M1 laptop and the calendar syncs fine, as well as my iOS devices - but on my Intel 2018 Mac mini, I need to restart for it to re-sync. So I guess this means it's not related to the processor - but it's SO frustrating and I just can't find a solution. I miss meetings all the time and will have to settle for getting texts that say "you coming to this?"

I had this same issue for a few years, without any resolution. I then logged out of my account and reinitialized it. This fixed the problem on my Intel iMac.
