Outlook Calendar on Mac Sync Issues with Apple calendar app

I have been having issues with syncing events between my Outlook calendar on Mac and my Apple calendar application (on my MacBook Pro) for the last couple of months. Before then, the syncing worked like a charm.

I've had many calls with the Apple support team and they got it working every single time but it stops syncing again after a few hours or at most a day.

Do you have any tips on what I may need to do to resolve this issue from the Outlook side of things?

An interesting fact is that my iPhone and my Outlook calendars are syncing perfectly fine. It's just the connection between my MacBook Pro and Outlook that doesn't work

I would so very much appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thank you!

Assuming people are still experiencing this (as I just did), it's not necessary to quit the Calendar app or force quit every process. If you launch the Activity Monitor, look for "CalendarAgent". Just quit it (no need for force quit), and it restarts immediately, restoring all the missing items. I've done this in the past and it worked just now again, so I think it's worth trying.

I had the same problem but had it worked out after opening Settings, and went to 'Internet Accounts > Outlook' I deleted and added the account again. Then I clicked 'Details' and changed the Description field to something else. Hope this helps.
