Outlook Calendar on Mac Sync Issues with Apple calendar app

I have been having issues with syncing events between my Outlook calendar on Mac and my Apple calendar application (on my MacBook Pro) for the last couple of months. Before then, the syncing worked like a charm.

I've had many calls with the Apple support team and they got it working every single time but it stops syncing again after a few hours or at most a day.

Do you have any tips on what I may need to do to resolve this issue from the Outlook side of things?

An interesting fact is that my iPhone and my Outlook calendars are syncing perfectly fine. It's just the connection between my MacBook Pro and Outlook that doesn't work

I would so very much appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thank you!

I am also having the same issue. Our weekly standup was cancelled. I do not see the event in the MS Outlook calendar, but it is still visible on the mac native calendar. Switching to manual updates and pressing CMD +R to refresh does not remove that event from the calendar.

For me, it seems that this bug occurs to modified events. New events appear, but if the location or time is modified, or it is canceled, those changes don't get updated on the mac calendar.

I had this same issue for a few years, without any resolution. I then logged out of my account and reinitialized it. This fixed the problem on my Intel iMac.

I have an M1 laptop and the calendar syncs fine, as well as my iOS devices - but on my Intel 2018 Mac mini, I need to restart for it to re-sync. So I guess this means it's not related to the processor - but it's SO frustrating and I just can't find a solution. I miss meetings all the time and will have to settle for getting texts that say "you coming to this?"
