Outlook Calendar on Mac Sync Issues with Apple calendar app

I have been having issues with syncing events between my Outlook calendar on Mac and my Apple calendar application (on my MacBook Pro) for the last couple of months. Before then, the syncing worked like a charm.

I've had many calls with the Apple support team and they got it working every single time but it stops syncing again after a few hours or at most a day.

Do you have any tips on what I may need to do to resolve this issue from the Outlook side of things?

An interesting fact is that my iPhone and my Outlook calendars are syncing perfectly fine. It's just the connection between my MacBook Pro and Outlook that doesn't work

I would so very much appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thank you!

I am having this issue as well. I am on Monteray 12.6 (the issue exists for me on my MacBook Pro and iMac). The only way I have gotten it to go away temporarily is to Quit my Apple Calendar App, go into Activity Monitor > Search for anything with "calendar" in it and force quit those actions. Then relaunch the calendar, and everything syncs up immediately. However, it does not stay in sync for long.

Will try upgrading to Ventura today. I'm REALLY hoping this helps. Currently, my calendar invites don't always make it out to people, and if I change the date or time of an event, people don't always get the notification. It's truly a pain in the neck!

You'd want to kill "exchangesyncd" process instead of "calendar" in Activity Monitor for the sync to start working again.

Or in Terminal, run: "killall exchangesyncd"

Assuming people are still experiencing this (as I just did), it's not necessary to quit the Calendar app or force quit every process. If you launch the Activity Monitor, look for "CalendarAgent". Just quit it (no need for force quit), and it restarts immediately, restoring all the missing items. I've done this in the past and it worked just now again, so I think it's worth trying.

The Calendar Agent fix works. It's not even that inconvenient in itself. The real disaster is that you have no indication that the sync is not working until you suddenly realize (sometimes too late) that an appointment is missing.

I have the same problem and can confirm it makes no difference with the new outlook or the old outlook. It has been an issue for me for a few weeks, so i thought to update to the 'new mac outlook' the issue persists and is possibly worse since switching. I am switching back to see if it goes back to the previous broken state.
