An error message appears in Ms. Outlook (We cannot render a new actionable message right now)

Hi all, today I got an error message when opening Ms. Outlook with the following error message (We cannot render a new actionable message right now. Please close an existing one in Microsoft Outlook and retry) As for what I have done =

*Update office version

*Re-install O365

but neither of those things solved the problem, really appreciate if anyone in this forum can give more advice.

(no problem sending messages via OWA)

    One users is experiencing this error when using Desktop Outlook and replying to an eMail (any eMail). No Polls involved. They do, however, have many eMails Open. Hopefully it will be resolved.

    I repaired the EdgeWebView in Programs & Features and that fixed the issue.

    Open Control panel (you can search for it in the “type here to search” window in the lower left corner of your desktop)

    Select View by Small Icons (upper right corner)

    Open Programs and features

    Right click on Microsoft Edge WebView 2 Runtime.

    Click Change and then repair it.

    Thanks for chasing down the definition of an actionable Item. You may have answered the question for users of Office 365 tenants.

    I am suspicious that the cause of my problem was a number of undeleted Microsoft Viva and other automatically generated Microsoft emails.

    You know the ones with the suggested items i.e. "you mentioned xyz in your email to somebody" with Done or Remind buttons on each item.

    in a busy office you can get several of those and if each one with a button in counts as one of the 10 actionable items it will be very easy to exceed the limit if you dont delete them from your inbox.

    Thank you. I am inferring from the link that an actionable message is one that contains one or more buttons that can be clicked to initiate an action directly from the email.
