An error message appears in Ms. Outlook (We cannot render a new actionable message right now)

Hi all, today I got an error message when opening Ms. Outlook with the following error message (We cannot render a new actionable message right now. Please close an existing one in Microsoft Outlook and retry) As for what I have done =

*Update office version

*Re-install O365

but neither of those things solved the problem, really appreciate if anyone in this forum can give more advice.

(no problem sending messages via OWA)

    The fault does seem to lie with Edge View 2 - we have had several faults related to Web View 2 - one where we disabled widgets and the left half of the screen went dead - you couldn't click on anything on the left side - re-enable then re-disable widgets and its back to normal.

    Greetings all,

    Is the problem resolved? Recently I had users encounter this issue.

    User A: Running on Win10 (22H2 build 19045.2846), O365 (2303 Build 16.0.16227.20202)

    User B: Running on Win10 (22H2 build 19045.2846), O 2019 (2303 Build 16.0.16227.20202)

    What I had done

    1. Repair Microsoft Edge WebView 2 Runtime
    2. Update the Office version
    3. Update the Windows OS version
    4. Performed Office online repair
    5. Reinstalled Office application

    User A problem was resolved after the 5 steps above but not for User B, carry on with the following steps, but still no luck. Any advice? Thanks.

    O365 - desktop Outlook - where exactly do I 'increase the Actionable Message limit'?

    Everything was running fine til the latest batch of updates? - now several users are reporting the error message and Outlook doesn't now pop out the message with a double click - its now one click+enter - message pops out and occasionally gives that error message - and strangely I don't appear to have any actionable messages in my inbox (tested it on my Outlook and it was working OK til I installed the latest Outlook/O365 updates).

    Irving,

    The main recent work has been to increase the Actionable Message limit which should help to avoid seeing this error message. If you are Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel the limit has increased to 10 AM emails open. If you are on any Semi Annual Channel it's still 5 AM emails open but that will increase to 10 soon. Also, we have been documenting as we learn them what types of emails have Actionable Messages and other learnings, Error when opening Actionable Messages - Microsoft Support.

    There is new work about to start that will help minimize the scenarios that will cause the Actionable Message from showing as much. I will update the Known Issue with those improvements when they become available.
