Hi all, today I got an error message when opening Ms. Outlook with the following error message (We cannot render a new actionable message right now. Please close an existing one in Microsoft Outlook and retry) As for what I have done =

*Update office version

*Re-install O365

but neither of those things solved the problem, really appreciate if anyone in this forum can give more advice.

(no problem sending messages via OWA)

    Hi all,

The Outlook In App Support Team is working on escalating this issue. We already have a bug opened that we think is this issue and confirming.

It appears there is a limitation with WebView Adaptive Cards that stops at 10. For example, I can repro this issue by sending myself 10 emails with Polls (New email, Insert, Poll under Include tab). If I open each Poll email and keep it opened I will usually get the error on the ~10th Poll email. The Poll is based off of Actionable Messages.

If you are seeing this with a different Actionable Message, please let me know what that is? I will post back when I know this issue will get resolved.

Yup, this is some cosmetic bug that requires to be fixed, I have users report this to IT about this same issue.
The users have the new profile created, it doesn't help.

Somehow it seems only appear as cosmetic, users claim the meeting they accepted was working fine.
    Just an annoying error message.

This only happens when the users manage calendars for others.

This has started happening to me when I shut down the computer on both my work computer (Windows 11) and my personal computer (Windows 10). It first started on the work computer in beginning of august and a little later on my personal computer. It certainly smells a lot like an update of some sort may have caused this.

It happens when I shut down the computer without manually closing Outlook first. If I manually close Outlook then no problem. But if I shut down, it will complain that Outlook is preventing the computer from shutting down. When I click cancel to go back and see, I see this specific problem and messagebox.

@Mike Is this happening in emails from one user or multiple users?

We're seeing this to one user from a single user and at this point it seems to only come up when an email with an attachment is opened.
