How can I see my replies in the conversation?

Currently, my inbox is set to see the emails as a conversation. However, I can't see my replies on the same email. Every time, I reply an email, it shows a "you replied on xxx" and I have to look for the email on my "Sent Items" folder which takes me time. Does anyone knows how to fix this problem?

    Hi Shimbarashe,

    I do not have these options:

    1. Open Outlook for Windows.
    2. Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
    3. Click on "Show as Conversations" in the "Messages" group.
    4. Click on the "Conversation Settings" button.
    5. Check the box next to "Show Replies and Forwarded Messages" and click "OK".

    Instead, I have:

    1. Open Outlook for Windows.
    2. Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
    3. Options are "Group in Conversations" or "Show Each Message Separately"

    The arrow indicator next to conversations helps you navigate through different view states:

    Initial State
    When you see a right-pointing arrow (→), the conversation is in a collapsed state

    .First Click
    Clicking once transforms the arrow to point downward at 45 degrees (↘), showing only other participants' messages in the conversation. Note that for one-on-one conversations, this state may be skipped directly to full expansion

    .Second Click
    Clicking the arrow again changes it to point straight down (↓), fully expanding the conversation to display all messages, including your own replies

    . | Arrow Direction | State | What You See | | --- | --- | --- | | → | Collapsed | No messages visible | | ↘ | Partially Expanded | Others' messages only | | ↓ | Fully Expanded | All messages visible | The arrow serves as a visual toggle to control how much of the conversation you want to view at once, allowing for efficient navigation through message threads

    Well...I got it to work in the web version!..After doing your arrow trick I went back to the web version and clicked on 'View' and then 'Conversations' and then clicked on 'Group into Conversations' and now I can see the entire email thread. Phew..thank you!

    Thank you William, I can see the arrow you are talking about. I normally use the web version of outlook though and I don't have that capability it seems. I suppose I could learn to like the regular version but everything was good before..lol.
