For New Outlook, I can't drag and drop attachment.

I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

    The new Outlook still does not allow for drag and drop of attachments as of March 28, 2024. I personally cannot stand the new Outlook. It takes a lot more clicks to manage the new Outlook which is not good for my productivity. Also for the attachments you cannot "Save As" and upload it to Outlook. You must download the attachment to your downloads folder then move it to the folder where you want it stored. I am trying to figure out how Microsoft thought this was an improvement because it is not.

    You are exactly right. And they said it would be available this month and we're still waiting, which doesn't help with the issue.

    I am unsure why Microsoft removed these options, which is very unproductive. They should add more productivity options not to remove them.

    We require this for sure as we drag and drop emails into another 3rd party application such as ConnectWise Manage PSA.

    The standard reply from Microsoft to send this a a suggested feature... NOOO this is a problem not a missing feature.
