For New Outlook, I can't drag and drop attachment.

I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

    Is there someone that can confirm when is going to be fixed?

    I am a helpdesk representative and I have complaints from my colleagues that cannot use drag and drop.

    Some of them can use the drag and drop, some cannot, SAME OUTLOOK version.

    How can I fix this?

    Haven't heard hide or hare from anyone at MS... The following (so far) has worked for me...

    First try turning off "preview" mode (this seems to be where the issue is based from all I've read).

    Revert to the "Old" classic view outlook if you are using the "New" outlook revert back (see this post for instructions if needed: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/outlook/i-need-to-return-to-my-classic-outlook-i-need-to-turn-off-new/m-p/3993858)

    Drag and drop worked after turning off preview and restarting outlook.

    Interestingly I was able to turn preview back on and it continues to work (i am running the "Old" classic outlook (which is fine, i prefer it to the "new" one anyway.

    The app is so buggy that I can't even do what you suggested :(

    I just asked the user to use the old version.

    Hopefully, they will fix it until the new version is mandatory.
