For New Outlook, I can't drag and drop attachment.

I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

    According to your description, the issue of your concern that the feature for drag and drop does not work on new Outlook.

    Based on my tests, it is a fact that this feature is not available when downloading the attachments. (uploading is OK.)

    We truly understand how frustrating it is, at this moment, please toggle off the New Outlook as a workaround.

    In addition, please be kindly to share your using experience and suggest this as a new feature to the New Outlook's engineering team as below:

    I Second this,

    The new file system needs some major feature added back:

    1. Drag and drop attachments from Email to folder
    2. Drag and drop files from folder to emails as attachments (Working I believe
    3. When Click download attachment (current), there is no option to choose folder to save

    Optional, Add Math Quick Auto Correct (similar to Words)

    I second this request - the option to be able to drag and drop not just attachments but also the emails as well to save them in the sharepoint folder. We need the back up documents such as an email. The fancy new look or being able to send the emoji as a reply to email is not as important as this drag and drop functionality.

    I also wish the outlook email can be drag and drop as an attachment to the task. Please add this functionality.

    This is frustrating.

    • Can't drag and drop files from a folder to an email
    • Can't select an attachment and copy it. The only options are download and save to Onedrive
    • Can't select all email attachments when the email contains more than one attachment
    • Can't copy and paste emails into an email

    All these features are available in the current version of Outlook.

    Please fix it MS and don't tell us to 'make a suggestion'. I reported it under a problem, not a suggestion.
