For New Outlook, I can't drag and drop attachment.

I like the new look for new outlook, but the problem I am having is that you cannot use drag and drop feature. I don't want to download all the content because I deal with heavy amount of invoices. I hope this is great feedback for Microsoft and get raised attention and get quickly implemented. Hope to get a quick response and help. Thanks for the support!

    I can't believe this was an issue in 2023 and it still hasn't been added as a feature again when old outlook had it. This really shows how good Microsoft is as a company. Really disappointing and makes the working office world just that more more inefficient. Step it up already, just re-add the existing feature again rather than taking them away.

    Thank you but it's the extra steps that are the problem.

    New Outlook, requiring those extra steps, is the problem. Microsoft should have either provided the current functionalality or provided even MORE functionality...not less, like it has done.

    New Outlook is taking us backwards instead of forward and causing problems because of it. Then Microsoft wonders why they are so disliked.

    The biggest problem for me is the lack of ability to drag and drop files form Outlook to Teams/Sharepoint. This type of interoperaibility is a key functionality flaw and should be fixed ASAP. This type of integration and interoperability is what made the MS suite so valuable. Not any more.

    Here we are 1 year later and this feature is still unavailable for drag & drop. Is there an eta on when this will be fixed, my AP team really wants to switch to the new Outlook but not being able to drag and drop the plethora of invoices they receive daily is preventing them from doing so.

    When the localized install of Outlook (desktop, not browser) is transitioned to the new version all of the attachments are locked to the cloud instead of local to the machine.

    This IMO is the biggest flaw, no option to have the files locally. This is from what I can tell, what's creating the drag and drop issues, attachments especially.

    MS - please add an offline sync option like it's always been. 100% cloud is not acceptable.
