Outlook 365 for Mac - not sending attachments

I have an issue whereby Outlook for Mac is losing attachments when sending emails (typically, but not exclusively, PDF files).

If a file(s) is/are dragged and dropped into an email it is shown as attached and appears to send as normal. There are no error messages or bouncebacks, and the first we know that the email has lost the attachment is when we are advised by the recipient. Then when checking the sent folder, the email is there but again without the attachments.

Doesn't do this every-time though... sometimes the email goes with the attachments as it normally should.

I'm using version 16.62 (22052500)

Has anybody else had this issue and is there a fix? Or is it a software glitch?

I am using Outlook 16.74.1 (a recent update about a week ago). I too am now getting messages back from people "you didn't include the attachment" when I know I did. I am using the attach, and browsing from my hard drive.

I also can no longer go from office products and click "share" > (send Presentation / Sheet / Doc).

    Very frustrating.

This is certainly not a serious reply

If the update breaks things, do not publish the update or remove it from being further published since issues with the said update have been raised.

My entire team are now suffering with this - it's compromising our ability to do business.

Ridiculous, come on Microsoft sort this out.

Attachments and footer images are being wiped randomly when sending emails. No pattern, it just happens to 1 in every 2 emails.

For all of you which not yet updated (probably no one who is reading this): do not update to version 16.74.1. Stay on 16.73.2. The latter version sends attachments OK. Hope MS fixes this fast, very fast and permanent.
