I like to open unread emails in a new window vs the email window. It sometimes works by double clicking but not very often. Is there a trick I'm missing?

Ashraf: several people here are pointing out that the options you have shown simply do not exist. Have you got a response to this or are you going to carry on pretending everything is ok? Could we either have a response or the name of your manager please?

Ashraf, have you got a reply for us yet? You may have the options in your screen share, but, as several of the posts below state, your customers do not. I'm not sure of the point of having a customer complaint facility if Microsoft are unable to afford us the basic human dignity of replying to emails.

As I asked yesterday, if you are unable to respond, could we have your manager's details please?

As it stands this is the last time I ever accept a 'new' or 'improved' product from Microsoft. If you lot are expecting us all to dutifully switch to Windows 11, you can flipping well forget it.

I don't see the message surface option in the new Outlook. I need to open emails in a separate window. My messages are kept in conversation view and all double clicking does is reduce the message in the thread. I can open in a new window if I reply or forward, but not just to read a new email. There is no pop out icon available. I need to be able to do this to look at the email while reviewing the calendar to schedule complex meetings or add details to the calendar. Flipping back and forth is not an option.

I found that a fast triple click opens the email in a new window but it sometimes doesn't work if I don't click fast enough. It's really annoying. I would never use outlook if my company didn't have it.
