How to remove old Outlook after switching to New Outlook

After changing to the New Outlook, my office apps still try to use old outlook application when I try to share a document (File - Share - Email). It opens old outlook but wont send. It just sets in Outbox. I assume some clean up is necessary to remove remanence of old Outlook?

    For my case, there is a "Change" option if we look at "Office 365" in the control panel (instead of "Settings")

    Nevertheless, the "Change" just triggers a "repair" of the app, which is not what we want here.

    There is no "Change" option with Office 365.

    Hi,
    I have the same issue but I do not have a separate "old outlook" app since it is part of the Microsoft Office app. And I cannot afford uninstalling Office as I would lose Excel, ppt and Word.

    Thank you for you help on that matter.
