How to remove old Outlook after switching to New Outlook

After changing to the New Outlook, my office apps still try to use old outlook application when I try to share a document (File - Share - Email). It opens old outlook but wont send. It just sets in Outbox. I assume some clean up is necessary to remove remanence of old Outlook?

    Another complete miss by microsoft. It's sad that I'm accustomed to such behaviour by them.

    I have the same problem, cant uninstall old outlook ,it says an outlook is already running all the time, my wife's iphone wont sync anymore either, She cant open our live.com.au emails anymore either, supprisingly I cant find a solution only forums like these with other people having the same headaches from microsoft

    same here, i see "change" but then the only option is "rep[air"

    the only option i have when i click on "change" is to "repair"

    "Add or Remove Features" is not found anywhere on the instalation page

    This fix worked for me. My interest was to have a single outlook on my PC and not be confused about which one I use to save events and calendar files.

    At some point, it would appear as if there's no harmony with my events, having both old and new Outlook on the PC. So, I wasn't sure if my events were giving me notification and reminders adequately.

    So, for me, the interference is what I do not like.

    The only downside to this fix is that it doesn't remove the entire app and its files to give you back your space.

    But I'm cool with it pending when the total removal fix is fixed. :)
