How to remove old Outlook after switching to New Outlook

Windows 11, with Microsoft 365. Options are not the same. It asks to "REPAIR" which does who knows what.

The need to delete the old version is because iCloud will only sync with the old one.... Hoping to default to the new one.

This is one of the biggest pc headaches I've ever dealt with, and I had AIR JORDAN for Windows 3 that had 14 3.5" disks.

This clearly does not work. Has any body figured this out, or do we need to keep two versions of Outlook on our computers?

Hello Microsoft...it's been 7 months and we're still waiting for an answer that works.

Please tell us how to remove the (old) Outlook from Windows 11 after upgrading to the (new) Outlook.

This does not work, no matter how often I try.

While I am sure it may be frowned upon, I was able to at least get it to go away. Search for outlook, click on "Open file location". If Windows 10, highlight > right click > properties > Open file location > right click and delete the application. If Windows 11, highlight > right click > Open file location > right click and delete the application. Then, search for outlook again and try to click on and run the old one, it is going to tell you that the shortcut cannot be found and ask if you want to delete it. Tell it that you do, search again try to run it, and nothing should happen. THEN, if you search again, you should ONLY see the "new" one. As mentioned previously, it isn't an ideal fix, but it should at least keep my users from getting confused when trying to access Outlook/Email.
