Outlook for macOS: Dropping attachments (randomly)

Hello all,

For some reason, Outlook for Mac is dropping attachments and images in the emails I send. It's random, but it happens to me quite often. I managed to find out that this issue has historically occurred with other people using older versions. It seems that this bug has returned to Outlook for Mac.

I have the latest version 16.75.

macOS is also updated, i.e., macOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66).

I didn't have this problem before. It appeared about a month ago. In the meantime, a new version of macOS has been released and there have been several updates for Outlook, but the situation persists.

Attachment randomly disappears from the e-mail which I send with the attachments and pictures. It looks very unprofessional.

This is example how it looks when I add picture to the e-mail when the message is sent.

If I try it once again on the second attempt the attachments/pictures are sent without issues.

I need help, please.Any advice?

    Had to go back to using Parrells on my mac to not look like an idiot when it comes to sending emails saying, look at this picture and there's just a link to a broken image :(

    I am in the same boat... This is ridiculous. It was intermittent in the first iteration of the problem; now it is no emails can be sent with attachments.

    Ugh.

    This is basic functionality that no longer works.

    So does anyone here know how to get the attention of Microsoft on this? Anyone know Satya personally?

    Is this something we let the media know about, stockholders? It feels like we are stuck. Kind of like USB-C in the EU.

    Just curious to get group feedback. I experienced this with my 2017 15-Inch MacBook Pro running on Intel Core i7 and MacOS Ventura 13.4.4. I circumvented it by rolling back to the old outlook. I recently got a 2022 13 inch MacBook Pro running on Apple M2 and MacOS Ventura 13.5.1 and am not yet seeing the attachment drop issues. Any chance this is related to the processor?

    I was also having problems with MS Teams video conferencing not working well on the 2017 MacBook (500% processor utilization with current version of O365 MS Teams) and that too went away with the new Mac. Just an observation..hope it helps.
