Outlook for macOS: Dropping attachments (randomly)

Hello all,

For some reason, Outlook for Mac is dropping attachments and images in the emails I send. It's random, but it happens to me quite often. I managed to find out that this issue has historically occurred with other people using older versions. It seems that this bug has returned to Outlook for Mac.

I have the latest version 16.75.

macOS is also updated, i.e., macOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66).

I didn't have this problem before. It appeared about a month ago. In the meantime, a new version of macOS has been released and there have been several updates for Outlook, but the situation persists.

Attachment randomly disappears from the e-mail which I send with the attachments and pictures. It looks very unprofessional.

This is example how it looks when I add picture to the e-mail when the message is sent.

If I try it once again on the second attempt the attachments/pictures are sent without issues.

I need help, please.Any advice?

OK, I'm totally confused. I got really tired of Outlook Legacy (we really used software like this for as long as we did?)

I said, let me try and switch back again. The MS updater day before yesterday had a ton of 365 updates (none which appeared to be Outlook) so I thought, what the heck.

I turned on the "New Outlook" last night, did a bunch of tests, and as usual, when I first turn this on everything works beautifully.

However, now, almost 24 hours, everything is still working. What's going on.

Appears to be the same version of Outlook: 16.76 (23081101) and macOS is Ventura 13.5.2, MacBook Air, M2, 2022.

    What is going on?

I switched to legacy version a while back due to this issue and now I'm seeing a message in that version that "The new Outlook for Mac is here! The new version will launch then next time Outlook restarts.". Are they now forcing you to the new version with this attachment issue still out there?

The issue is still persistent as of today... the version is 16.76.2 (23082700)

But, it started to be impacting the business, seems not funny any more...

Just replicated the problem again... Still "unattaching" the attachments to the outgoing email. I have updated both MacOS, Outlook, and switched to Legacy Mode and back... still an issue it seems.

I wonder how one gets the 23082700 version? Looks to be a newer version than 23081101. Looks to be the German version as well?

I downgraded to the Legacy, restarted and then moved to the New Outlook and I'm still at 23081101.
