Outlook for macOS: Dropping attachments (randomly)

Hello all,

For some reason, Outlook for Mac is dropping attachments and images in the emails I send. It's random, but it happens to me quite often. I managed to find out that this issue has historically occurred with other people using older versions. It seems that this bug has returned to Outlook for Mac.

I have the latest version 16.75.

macOS is also updated, i.e., macOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66).

I didn't have this problem before. It appeared about a month ago. In the meantime, a new version of macOS has been released and there have been several updates for Outlook, but the situation persists.

Attachment randomly disappears from the e-mail which I send with the attachments and pictures. It looks very unprofessional.

This is example how it looks when I add picture to the e-mail when the message is sent.

If I try it once again on the second attempt the attachments/pictures are sent without issues.

I need help, please.Any advice?

OK, really, really weird. I've been talking with MS support on this and not really helpful. Although, my solution of using OWA with Safari was really getting frustrating. I went back to using the "New Outlook" and get even more frustrated. So, I went back to the legacy Outlook. I thought, mmm, may be there's something in the CI/CD process with MS that when you click on the "new outlook" you get into a specific beta stream. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but, still.

So, I said, what the heck, I can't stand the Legacy Outlook now either. I pushed the button to use the New Outlook again, and guess what, totally different desktop client. All sorts of new features including focus modes (connected to macOS) and it appears the attachments and picture thing is fixed!

    DePaul!

Instead of giving stupid advices (and of course people are annoyed and WILL add their frustrated comments), you need to escalate this problem internally, so it is fixed!

What a louse company Microsoft is with this kind of bug persisting over MONTHs.

    Is this Microsoft "innovation"?

Do you realize how this is damaging to Microsoft reputation?

    FIX IT.

Same here. It is extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Luckily with my colleagues within my organization, I'm able to upload to dropbox and send them a link to the document. But what are we supposed to do in the meantime when I have tons of financial reports and documents to send to other organizations?!

I have had intermittent issues with attachments "disappearing" and am running the lastest versions of Ventura and Outlook )desktop version), because the webbased version does not support multiple mailboxes (or am I missing something). This has become a nightmare for me as most of my emails include a document.

    Please help.
