Hi,
I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.
When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.
Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?
Thanks
CM

The whole shared mailbox piece is just rubbish in New Outlook. I keep toggling it across, seeing now improvement on the shared mailbox provision and toggling back.
The whole inability to pin favourites completely stopped the use of New Outlook, even if we take out the mix of how hard it is to admin shared mailboxes in the that new look and feel.
It is impossible to use. Can you please make this work for those who use them everyday.
As a IT support analyst, I have access to 4 shared mailboxes, and in its current state I can't use new Outlook.
Do you think anyone at Microsoft is reading this? :-)
Unlikely. Please make sure you upvote this https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-365-developer-platform/outlook-monarch-allow-adding-shared-mailbox-folders-to-favorites/idi-p/3882168
Doubt it - my partner, can't use the new Outlook for the same reasons, different org. Everyone on campus who admins multiple shared mailboxes are saying the new Outlook is unusable in its current iteration.
I just keep reminding them to give feedback when they switch back and to make it clear why.
