"New" Outlook: Add Shared Mailbox to Favorites

Hi,

I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.

When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.

Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?

Thanks

CM

Adding a mailbox to a favourite in that way seems to be a filter for emails that YOU received from that mailbox. It's pretty useless.

I also desperately need to see the INBOX at least of several shared mailboxes.

    Agreed,

Aboslutely useless, I've just messaged my colleagues to say 'Good news' you can add the shared mailboxes in as favourites on new outlook, but now were going to miss most of the emails as its not sharing the inbox its filtering only emails ive previously responded to in the old version of Outlook!

We need to genuinely share an inbox, genuinely see how many emails haven't been responded to etc. It costs us £11 per user per month and the only app we really use is One drive and Outlook, we rarely need to use anything else as we have apps for all the things that we do, looks like we might be needing a new email app too now.

This really needs implementing it. It's no longer Outlook Preview, so it's baffling it's still not a feature.

There seem to be a lot of users like us that have lots of email accounts and shared mailboxes. The inability to pin these to favourites affects productivity immensely.

It's so easy to miss emails when you have a so many accounts with lots of pined folders for each.

They seem to have removed the "Feedback" button now, too, now that it is no longer "Preview".
