"New" Outlook: Add Shared Mailbox to Favorites

Hi,

I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.

When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.

Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?

Thanks

CM

Where do I find the version, such as 20250214004.06.

I will check to see which one I have.

The screenshot I posted is of the Shared with Me mailboxes.
These are Mailboxes created by Admin and shared with some of us in the organisation.

Here' i an example of one of them already added to Favourites with the option to remove it.
Perhaps it is still rolling out.

    I have Version 1.2025.205.100

    Thanks for sharing Tom.

Any idea on how to update my version manually to get the lastest version, and hopefully the change ?

    Unfortunately, no.
I am also looking for a way to update for my colleagues who, while in the same organisation and sharing the same mailboxes, do not have the update which I have.
I tried running the Windows Update with the option to "Give me updates for other Microsoft Products" but this did not work.
It appears Microsoft is rolling out per user and not by organisation or some other random and mysterious way.

One of my colleagues launched a formal complaint accusing me of being in cahoots with Microsoft to stifle their productivity, so I am also dealing with building my defence for now. An answer to your question would help get me out of this pickle. :)
