"New" Outlook: Add Shared Mailbox to Favorites

Hi,

I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.

When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.

Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?

Thanks

CM

Hi, I still cannot add an inbox of a shared mailbox as favorite to oin it to the top in my menu and better monitor incoming emails via OWA.

YES! And i can use my own signature and I can use the labels of the specific mailbox. For me these were the problems that stopped me from using the new Outlook. Now I can finally try it for real.

Same here. It now works. On to the next issue with this new outlook, move a message to a folder under a shared mailbox with a quickstep....

Out of the blue it started working a few days ago, so far I think it's working on the two computers I use regularly. My guess is that it's a combination of app version and being turned on in the back end. Something I read on a link someone else posted above gave me the feeling it was being rolled out slowly and not turned on all at once.
