Hi,
I manage 3 mailboxes at work and made the mistake of switching to the new Outlook a bit early [my toggle to switch back is gone?] and it's totally messed up my workflow. I was able to find my shared mailboxes after several back and forth with my IT department. Now I need to add the inboxes of those shared mailboxes to my "Favorites" list so I don't have to scroll down constantly to work those accounts.
When I right click on the shared inbox there is no option to "Show in favorites" and I get the circle crossed out when I try to drag them into favorites. Also, in the Favorites folder when I click "Add to Favorites" it brings up something wonky, and mailbox folders don't appear to be an option.
Can anyone tell me how show these shared account folders in my favorites?

My user was able to add shared inbox in Outlook on the Web. She said, " I googled around a bit and added the shared folder manually!"
I guess there is a way to manually add a shared folder manually. After it is visible, you can add it to your Favorites.
Same here, it must depend on how the additional mailbox is added. Mine is under "Shared with me" which was added by IT and I can't add that email account to Favourites. Adding the email account using the email address and password should work.
Sorry, I don't understand. Only the Inbox shows under Favorites. When I select it, I see all emails that are in the Inbox, the same as the other Inboxes in my Favorites area.

I am using the New Outlook Desktop app.
I hovered over the "Favorites" heading. The three dots appeared. I clicked on them and selected "Add Favorite". I then typed the email address and selected the correct Inbox from the choices. I now have my shared inbox in my favorites area.
True, if multiple people are working on the same shared mailbox, it would not work. I just wanted to share the workaround I found for my specific setup in case it helped any of the others. Thank you David!
