Is this email from "Microsoft Outlook.com" legitimate?

Hi my name is Trinity parker and I got the letter that have the thing in it.

I have not received this message (yet). I have given up on the Microsoft specialists on this site to help with the BlackBerry Hub issues - namely not allowing my email to work anymore. They did not give me any solutions at all!

On June 22 I received an email from "Microsoft Outlook.com", specifically: "Admin Desk • *** Email address is removed for privacy ***" stating: "We are closing all old versions of our Mailbox as from June 23rd, Please follow the attached below to update .
Before upgrading your account, please ensure that your password is correct.
Failure to verify your account with the Microsoft Update Attached File."

Please tell me if this is legitimate?! Thank you.

Then is must be you using my name and likeness to get credit and this email ******@outlook.com. I promise it is not a real email for anyone that is doing anything ligit. Trust me it has been reported. If you proclaim that is real, I will have the FBI come knock on your door so we can charge you. My name is Tina Huseth that is a fake email set up by scammers. They took a 2000 loan out in my name. d

To all unsuspecting and non technical users reading this thread, scammers are here trying to convince you their phishing mail is legitimate. Don't ask me how I know. I just do.
